Hello and welcome to Beehive Academy!
My name is Bridgette Logsdon, and I am the owner and founder of Mrs. Logsdon’s Beehive. I believe that every child is born with unique gifts, and my mission is to help students discover those gifts while nurturing confidence and a lifelong love of learning.
I hold an A.A. in Ministry, a B.S. in Psychology, and an M.Ed. in Elementary Education, along with several additional certifications. Over the past decade, I’ve had the joy of teaching and tutoring children ages 3–11, helping each one grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
I believe that for a child to truly learn, they must first feel loved, safe, and valued. At Beehive Academy, I focus on building meaningful relationships that empower children to cultivate their strengths and prepare for a bright and successful future.

Mathematics Department
Mr. Jason Goad M.Ed
With over seven years of teaching experience at Golden Valley High School, I have developed a strong background in secondary mathematics instruction across a wide range of levels and student needs. I have taught Foundations 2 (Pre-Algebra), College Prep and Honors Algebra 1, College Prep and Honors Algebra 2, College Prep Statistics, and Consumer Math—helping students connect mathematical concepts to real-world applications. In addition, I have taught summer school courses in Foundations 2 and Algebra 1, and provided evening credit recovery instruction at East High School.
I currently hold a Math Level 4 Credential, the highest secondary-level certification in Utah, which qualifies me to teach all secondary mathematics courses, including dual enrollment classes. I am presently teaching Math Secondary 1 (General and Honors) for 8th and 9th graders, focusing on developing strong mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills in early high school students.
To further enhance my teaching practice, I am completing the Big 6 Certified Educator Program, an advanced endorsement centered on digital technology integration in the classroom. Through this program, I am developing expertise in tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva for Education, MasteryConnect, Canvas, Google Workspace, Nearpod, and SchoolAI. My goal is to create dynamic, technology-rich learning experiences that empower students to engage with mathematics in meaningful and innovative ways.

Hi! My name is Abigail Carr, and I’m a senior at California State University, Bakersfield, majoring in Liberal Studies. I’ll be graduating in just a few months, and throughout my time at CSUB, I’ve built a strong foundation in child development, educational theory, and effective classroom strategies—all of which have deepened my passion for teaching and working with young learners.
Over the past several years, I’ve gained meaningful hands-on experience with children in a variety of settings. From babysitting and volunteering in classrooms to working as a kindergarten aide, I’ve had the opportunity to support students as they grow, explore, and build confidence in their abilities. Each of these experiences has reinforced my belief that learning should be fun, creative, and meaningful.
As I prepare to take the next step toward my teaching career, my goal is to create a classroom environment where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. I’m excited to continue my journey as an elementary school teacher, helping students develop a lifelong love for learning and a strong sense of self-confidence.

Hi, I’m Kayelin Lebo — a retired collegiate softball player with over 16 years of experience and a lifelong passion for the game. I had the incredible opportunity to compete at both California State University, Bakersfield and the University of California, Riverside, where I was able to play the sport I love at the collegiate level.
Softball has been a huge part of my life, shaping who I am today. It’s taught me the value of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance, lessons that I carry with me every day and hope to pass on to the next generation of athletes.
During my time at Stockdale High School and throughout my college career, I helped run multiple softball camps, where I discovered my love for teaching and mentoring young girls. There’s something truly special about helping young athletes grow in confidence and learn to play with joy and purpose, and it’s become one of my greatest passions.
I’m currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Child, Adolescent, and Family Studies, with plans to continue my education and earn a master’s degree in education to become an elementary school teacher. My goal is to make a lasting impact—whether it’s by inspiring young athletes on the field or encouraging students in the classroom to believe in themselves and their abilities.
